Here's a long shot: is there anyone on the list who owns, owned or has even seen my old Kombi? It is/was a 1.7 litre 1973 Aussie conversion, mustard in colour, with bull bar and white vertical pop-top. I sold it to a friend in 1994 in NSW, Australia with registration GLH440. She sold it to some travelers a few years later. Just curious. It would be fun to know it is still out there giving someone the type of adventures we had with it. Don't you think these vehicles should come with a standardized log book and net registry for the life of the car?
