Nope. As I recall I checked with Bull'mer and they don't even want you to take a butane lighter through their tunnel, let alone a <gasp> propane torch. Geo. Washington bridge, OTOH, allows X pounds in tanks no bigger than Y, I think, possibly permanently mounted.

Permanently mounted is a tipoff to ASME tanks, since you can't permanently mount a BBQ tank, it seems to me. But regardless, if a bridge or tunnel authority makes an exception for something like that it will say so in their regulations. AAA has copies of them IIRC.
