Subject: 82 westy turbo diesel questions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I am new to this list having belonged to the type 2 list for a long time. I have the opportunity to get an 82 turbo diesel westy. At least that is what the logo on the back of the vanagon says. Right above where it says vanagon it says turbo diesel. This bus has been sitting for a year. It has a clear title. I do know it was running when it was parked a year ago. I don't know anything about turbo diesels. I do have an 81 diesel rabbit. I am going to take a battery over to where the bus is and try to start it but I wanted to know if anyone can give me any information about this kind of bus. (Good bad or ugly). The guy wants it out of his yard and only wants 150 for it. The westy interior is all there and in good shape. Sharon
