Dear List ,

I am about to buy a 87 caravelle syncro , it is a version 16 I think ,since I will see the van this weekend I am not sure if its 14 or 16 , here is what the seller told me about it , it has front and rear diff lock , has dual shocks at rear (why the hell it has duals per one wheel ??) has skid plates and an extra frame (as he told me) , has 1.9TD on it since the WBX is dead however the TD is not in a good condition , asking $5900 .... well syncro is my dream van so I want to buy it , in here (Turkey) there are 5 or 6 , one is this , what to look for ?? how can I understand if it is a real 16 ??? will 5900 worth , TD is no problem since I am familiar with them but , what if there is problem with visco cup. must be very expensive .. thanx for help
