Thanks for all of the quick responses on the value of this engine. That is kind of what I expected. I am going to talk to my sister and let her know. I am guessing they will sell the van all together. It is an 86 Syncro the body is in good shape, it has 350,000 well cared for miles with a fairly new rebuilt front end. The engine has low compression on #3 (no known reason). The tranny that would come in it (literally inside of it) would be one that no longer goes into 4th gear.
