OK Here is the deal on the 82 westy I'm looking at. My husband went to look at it today. We know it needs a starter, battery, clutch cable, exhaust pipe to muffler, and 4 new tires just from looking at it. (the starter and battery were missing). The gentleman whos yard it is sitting in said his friends father was the original owner and has since passed away. It has 48,626 miles on it. Yes that's right! The interior is in good shape. Body in good shape. So I guess I should buy it for the grand sum of $150. :) :) :) And the bonus is his friend is the owner of a towing company! Will let you know what is really wrong with the engine when we get it home.

Does anyone know the website to decipher your vin number.?

Sharon
