BTW,  our own listee, Bill Davidson, who I have been hoping would make the
tailgate soiree, had begged off complaining of a head cold.  I don't believe
this for a minute, & am still hoping he will grace us with his presence.
I've not yet met Bill, but he strikes me as someone who is fond of making an
entrance.  So perhaps he'll roll in, afterall.
