Check the oil again first thing in the morning to get your best reading.... The level should come down some as the filter fills up with oil... but it is likely overfilled. I think mine takes about 4 quarts... I think 4.5 may be overfilled. Anyway, it's easy enought to drain a half quart. I always put in 4 quarts, start the engine, let it sit overnight to get a 'true reading'... and then adjust if necessary.
