With the 85, the only reason to use high octane gas would be to throw money away... I suppose the additive packages in the higher octane gas _might_ be different, but I am not sure you would see the difference. Unless you have a knock sensor or are timing the engine without a light and not to the specs in the bentley, higher octance gas isn't doing anything much for you...
