Todd,

I use contact cement for a lot of things... for instance, many uses for Velcro in a vehicle... but I always find that the glue that comes on the back of the Velcro softens with heat and time and what ever it is holding up falls down... Fix: coat the back of the Velcro with contact cement... coat the spot you want it to stick to with contact cement (if it is a slick surface you will get better results by ruffing it up a bit)... wait 10 to 15 minutes... press the two coated surfaces together... it will no longer melt and fall off in the heat...

Bill
