I should have also said that you can (and I have) buy ten-foot-long hoses with POL fittings on one end for a BBQ tank and disposable-cylinder fittings on the other end. That's what I use for our ancient Bernzomatic catalytic heater (one model number away from the one they're giving a $125 reward for, drat it.
