This is the brake system that the VW factory installs on all new Vanagons being built in South Africa. As long as they are building and servicing Vanagons in SA these parts will be available. I have sold some spare brake pad sets part #251698151V along with a few kits for $70. I also know that there are two different manufactures for the brake rotors. I have not tried to purchase the rotors separately so I do not know what their pricing is. You must also remember that these brakes will probably last twice as long as your stock Vanagon brakes will. These rotors are thick enough that you can machine them unlike our stock Vanagon rotors. Thanks!
