I've just re-installed my Dometic fridge after installing the air pump mod and doing some maintenance. The re-installation went much smoother after modifying the cabinet space where the fridge resides. Here's what I did: 1. Cut out a portion of the horizontal pressboard panel that separates the fridge from the stove above it. I used a rasp to shave out a section of the panel (about 1 1/2" X 4") along the back edge where the ribbing of the flexible pipes for the exhaust flue and the fresh air intake always seen to catch on the edge of the panel. 2. I also notched the corners of the two pieces of pressboard mounted vertically along the bottom of each side of the cabinet. It's these two pieces on which the bottom of the fridge rests when it's sitting in the cabinet cavity. The bottom edge of the fridge no longer catches on these pieces when re-installing.
