If you take the time to eviscerate the dash, you might as well replace the blower motor or you will be doing the job again all too soon. Also, the only way I have found to ease the task is to first replace a blower motor in a 240 Volvo. Then, the Vanagon becomes child's play. It really is not all that difficult. There is ample working room and the instrument binnacle pops off quickly. Rich |
