I hate to jump in on this peripheral thread but I could not help myself. A vehicle is a package deal. I will take the way my Volkswagens drive over the dependability of a Honda or Toyota any day. That is why when people ask me what kind of car to get my question to them is do you love driving or do you need to get from point a to point b. I just helped some friends find a 4x4 Toyota Van. These go 250,000+ miles and you propably wouldn't even need to change the oil. They are tinny and loud and you cannot feel the road at all. I will take my routine maintenance in order to get the kind of over all package I am looking. (Of course some would just simply say I am addicted.) just another way of looking at it, Craig the Gorge VW club 60 Double Cab 63 Rag Top Bug (soon to be Herbie) 73 Thing 86 GTI for sale 86 Quantum Syncro 87 Quantum Syncro TURBO for sale 90 Multi Van
