Subject:      new tires and alignment

        after the right rear tire blew up (Michelin XZ., sidewall got
busted), I am in need of new tires. I will get the Michelin Agilis 61, but
the tire place is usually fast to "recommend" an alignment. The old tires
look fairly evenly used. Is a new alignment necessary? If yes, is there
something special about the alignment for a westy or is it a "norml"
procedure which any place can do w/o destroying anything? BTW, Jenny is an
'81 westy.
