Subject: 15" Alloys are Back!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

It's been a while (nearly a year) since these became unavailable, so I thought I'd let you know that more are now available - but not many, so they may backorder again very very soon.

These are the 15" genuine VW alloy wheels that are optional on the Vanagons in South Africa. They look very similar to the alloys on U.S. Wolfsburg edition wheels, but the centercap fits flush into the wheel. You can see a picture on my website at http://199.217.241.240/partsimages/wolfsburg.JPG .

The price is $139.95 each plus shipping. This includes the wheel and the center cap. You need to use the lug nuts and bolts for U.S. spec alloy wheels. Although I have heard that you can get aftermarket nuts and bolts that work, the only way I sell them is genuine VW, which isn't cheap ($6.95 per bolt, $10.75 per nut). Getting matching tires is not difficult; in fact, upgrading to a 15" wheel can give you a larger selection of C/D load range tires, since many SUV's take 15" light-truck rated tires whereas few take 14" ones. These wheels are blems, meaning that they may have minor scratches (although in fact many of them do not). Part number WOLFSBURG. Order via the website, or toll-free at 1-866-BUS-DEPOT.
