There's yer problem.  The OXS light is triggered by a mileage counter, not the
actual status of the OXS.  Replace the OXS anyway...get the generic version
from the Bus Depot, not the expensive one that's the same thing with an
expensive connection.

The OXS light is reset by pushing a button on the black box between the
odometer cable coming from the left front wheel and the one connecting to the
odometer.  I was able to see my box clearly when dropping the spare tire, but I
doubt that's necessary.
