i have a 82 westy that has a fair amount of rust. most is seam rust, a dent near the wheel well, and various pit marks on the body. i was thinking about just taking it to maaco and getting a paint job and then i thought that maybe i could do something about it. i wanted to know how hard is it to try and sand some of the rust off? i thought i might be able to do that on some of the seams and then get it painted to try and stop some of the rust. thanks in advance.- rawls ps- if people don't want to clog up the list, people can p-mail me.
