Bill,

I see that you totally missed the point of my polemic! America's Tire Co. was the local dealer!!!. 12 blocks from the house in Pasadena, CA on Colorado Blvd. to be sure.

I was trying to alert the list to the fact that there was no advantage to going internet, in fact a cost penalty. So, to repeat the last part of my message, The local dealer was 23 to 35% cheaper than the internet price. The other local dealer was in San Fernando (20 minutes away).

Just too subtle at times!
