Subject: Swivel Seat transplant info
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi, I am new to the list but a longtime reader... I need help with an upcoming project... I am considering transplanting the swivel seat assemblies from a mid eighties Vanagon Westy to an 84.5 passenger vanagon.. I have the complete seats and the base plates are in the donor van.. Has anyone done this before? Does anyone know of someone in the Atlanta area who is capable of doing the transplant cleanly? Is the transplant feasible or is there another way to get the swivel seats into the passenger van and swivelling... Has anyone done this and has pictures of the transplant?

I am interested in building a modified weekender namely only the bed seat , the swivel seats and the curtains and window screens... Any help with the swivel seats would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks a million Addison
