I measured the voltage drop through the headlight switch and stock wiring and found it to be insignificant on my 90 Westy... perhaps that is not the case with older Vanagons that have created more corrosion over the years... Nor did I find it necessary to go to the 100 watt bulbs... but if I did I would surely run new wires from the battery via fuses and relays... Bill |
