Wow, unbelievable, crazy, totally mad...
Here in Germany every Vanagon part that is more exclusive than the normal
"transporter" interior is super-expensive here in Germany and hard to find.
Power Mirrors, Jump seats, Carat tables and side panels, square
headlights+grill, A/C, PS, Power windows, cruise control...
Everything costs hundreds of D-Marks here used...
Most Vanagons in our wrecking yards have only one taillight left, all other
things gone, ripped out and sold BEFORE the vans are wrecked...
Here in Germany you will NEVER, NEVER find a fiberglass bumper at a wrecking
yard. Strange world, if I sold imported wrecked parts from the U.S. I would
cancel my job and still have enough money to live...
The posting "Free A/C" was a real shock, didn´t find sleep for two days...
A/Cs go for over 1000DM here... Anyone willing to ship the stuff? Would
still be cheaper than buying in Germany...
