While we are on this thread, I noted copper pipe was suggested as a replacement, would this not cause electrolysis problems, from my dim memory of school chemistry, I thought aluminium and copper set up a wonderful electrical cell? Would one not end up with aluminium coated copper, and no cylinder block? Anyone able to confirm copper coolant pipes are ok to use as a repalcement for steel or plastic? John.
