The voyager name was applied to some Plymouth full size vans, back before the mini-vans were produced.

It is pretty common in the auto industry to move a name down from a larger/more expensize car to a smaller/cheaper car over the years.

I know a guy with a '74 Ford explorer (actually a version of the F100 pickup)
