Awhile back I had a less-than-astute mechanic reseal the tranny on my 85 Westy (I've learned, I've learned), and since then the rear of the vehicle seems to sit lower than before. (The seals seem to be holding.) Before I dig into Bentley for an answer, does anyone on the list have any notion of what could be causing this? I'd assume that a tranny goes back into the same place, and R&R-ing it shouldn't cause the rear end to sit in a different position.
