In the bentey manual, it describes testing the AFM by moving the plate and measure the resistance btw two pins. Is the plate refered to inside the afm? Or is the the black plastic cap that is plainly visible and makes up the TOP of the AFM? What are classic symptoms of a defective AFM? My engine runs fine, I think. Should it have a fast idle during cold starts? Mine runs a bit poor when it's cold- if I don't clutch it just right, there's a spot of no power low on the RPMs. I think I pinned down a defective temp sensor II. I just happened to check out the AFM a bit tonight as well. Bradley Flubacher State College PA |
