Hi volks! Am I right or wrong? It is a guy named Alexis Neon ( spelled Nehon?) from Montreal that invented the radial tire...Nobody in america cared about this new structure, so he sold it to Michelin ??? Back in 72, I bought a used volvo from a friend that had Michelin X with 110000 miles on them...they lasted another 50000 miles and they were still good on ice, but not in the snow...I almost kept one as a souvenir...this list always has subject to bring me old souvenirs! pierre a. lachance lac beauport, quebec www.geocities.com/lachancepa/ > Absolutely right. Michelin invented the radial tyre in the 1940s, (robin) > David Marshall could be right too. |
