All Chris did was to push the seatback forward to form a sort of triangular shape, and use loads of brown paper and duct tape. It was a masterful job of packaging.

However, it turned out that I took a road trip and picked it up personally, so it was not actually shipped UPS. Further, it never was unpacked; rather it stayed in my garage for a year until I sold the van for which it was intended, and included it along with that van.

If it weighed 150 pounds, the UPS charge for cross country shipment would currently be around $ 90 US.
