Someone mentioned the valves of the disposable cylinders are being a possible
weak spot.  I have found this to be true even of the disposables with the
original fill.  I've put a lantern on a cylinder, used it for a while, then
removed the lantern and found that the cylinder was leaking slowly.

You couldn't hear it, but you could smell it and see it.  That's right... see.
Propane has a different refractive index than air and you can see it come out
if you look across the top of the bottle.

Since propane is heavier than air, this can be disastrous if you leave such a
thing weep for hours or days inside a garage or a Westy.
