Not to start an argument here (I seem to be good at that lately) but the original post said they mounted the Michelin X tires on their van... so what don't you think so about? Yes there is a different between the X and the X One... A *big* difference! One is a premium all-out our off-road / military tire and the other is a lot more civilized - especially of you have Mercury Villager and quiet in the same sentence.

He's probably referring to the Michelin X One, a "premium" all season tire.

I have a set of them on our Villager (215/70R15 97T M+S)and they're better handling and quieter than the Goodyear Eagle GAs they replaced.
