Yeah right,

Just like the French still maintain that it was Peugeot who invented the motor
car, and the Americans think it was Henry Ford, but the rest of the world knows
it was Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz :-)

People in Holland know that Laurensz Coster of Haarlem was the first to print
books, where the rest of the world mistakenly maintain it was Gutenberg...

But seriously, all I know is that Michelin themselves claim to be the inventor
of the radial tyre. Who gave them the idea, I don't know...
