I thought T.O. had all that hot air from Ottawa keeping it warm? After all, the election *IS* decided by how T.O. votes, right?

All jokes aside...

I was going to pick up some Mobil 1 the other day, and they have 10W30, 15W40 (or is it 15W50?) and 20W50 and was a little befuzzled about which one to get. That brings up another question - is running syn in my high mileage engine just going to cause it to weep oil too much? Or should I stick with dino? I put Mobil 1 when I got it (one oil change ago), cause that's all my Golf gets (and has got since new).

Anyways, with the current 20W50 Mobil 1 in it, I noticed the engine was much noisier at startup yesterday morning (-13 or so) so I think I may switch to 10W30. Now I have to decide if it's dino or syn.
