Hey Alan,

I use dino oil and change it often. I've got a leaky engine/tranny seal so I have to keep topping it up --- which I ain't gonna do at $5 a litre (that's nigh on a quart incidentally) --- so the dino/synth debate is moot as far as I'm concerned. I've found it thin enough that I can start the engine at -30 celsius (-22 fahrenheit) and I feel better with the 40w when the engine is hot --- my poor old Westy likes thick oil.......

Doug
