I believe group 41 is the one that is correct for non-vented applications.
Interstate Battery now sells the MTP-91, which is also correct and a
replacement for the MT-66, and is vented with a tube on top. That battery is
what goes into all Vanagons I sell or drive. When comparing CCA's, be sure
you are comparing the ratings at the exact same temperatures, some
manufacturers like to brag up their batteries by rating them at a higher
'cold' temperature, thereby achieving more CCA.
