I did exactly that using a similar fan I got from ZomeWorks in Albuquerque some years ago (they don't carry them anymore). I just took a piece of masonite, sized it to fit the skylight opening, added some velcro tabs to keep it in place, cut a hole in the middle of the board for the solar fan and was in business. I use it when parked in hot weather and just pull it out when underway.
