A reputable mechanic told me that a general rule of thumb is that all wheels on all passanger cars get 80 foot pounds of tourqe. And that is it. In the scope of things, 80lbs is not that much. Because i don;t have a torque wrench that i am not allowed to remove from my laboratory anymore, i use some simple logic to tighten the lugs. Hmmm, i weight 200 lbs, so my whole body weight at 1' is too much, so if i step on it at 4.8" i should be about right. OR don't tighten then more that you can remove w/o stepping on the wrench!

Good luck and have fun.
