I'm running Michelin MXT 205R70/14's on my '85. They fit the stock wheels just fine and greatly improved the handling over the Goodyear Wrangler AT's the PO had installed. The load range on the MXT's is up to a Westy and they are pretty quiet as well. Chuck '85 Wolfsburg Westy -- Roland >>Since my flat, I've been driving on three Michelin XZX 185R14's and one Continental 185R14C (drivers side rear), with no usable spare. I'm thinking of replacing all 5 tires and looking for recommendations. I'd like to go wider if possiible to improve handling, but I don't think I want to upgrade the size of the rims (unless you can convince me to). Despite my Canadian address I will NOT be driving in snow, pokey is too clean underneath, I can't be the one to rust her out. Thanks, Chris Gronski<< |
