This is very similar to the "Kats" heater that I installed in my 85 GL, except this heater is darn near twice the diameter of mine, and it doesn't put out as much heat. The "Kats' heater is closer to the outside diameter of the lower coolant hose, therefore, facilitating, easier installation,taking up less room, in the engine compartment. In other words it's smaller, so you have a larger selection of places where you can put it. But this heater is a good example of what I've been talking about.
