Hi Volks, My friend Eddie replaced the canvas on his 1985 weekender last summer. He removed the top to be able to do the job on the ground. Everything went well except he had a hell of a time getting the rear hinges adjusted back to their original setting. (They have allowance for fore and aft, left and right adjustment!) Make sure you make some reference marks, masking tape?, so you can put the top back on in the exact, original and correct position. PS. I am proud of this list for staying out of the recent, most pressing, ongoing political question on our plate. Remember: A quiet list is a happy list. Be careful Ben T Ron |
