Oh she knows what she's in for. When I asked her if we should get a Westy, she was all over it! Her parents have an EV Westfalia. Now, selling the van is not an option, no matter what happens. Whenever it hiccups, I tell her "it's just Vanagon-itis. They all do it.". I've got her converted over to "The Dark Side". She points out Vanagons and Westfalias on the highway for me. She can spot and Audi at about 50 yards. She's a big supporter and do-er in the local VW club. She's even confessed that she likes the older 911s with the round headlamps more than the newer ones with the "cow-pat" headlamps. She just wants a kid before I get any more toys. I have the opposite problem; a boyfriend with little interest in VWs. So I go traipsing around junkyards by myself and yes, I've even torqued the heads myself. > > Donna, 1987 Wolfsburg, et al. > > >>> Larry Hamm <ldhamm@XMISSION.COM> 11/09/00 10:39AM >>> > Keith Adams wrote: > > > (Porsche 911 is my other obsesssion, however, I have been > > assured that if I get a Porsche before my wife-to-be gets a child, I > > will have an ex-wife-to-be. > > Keith, > RUN, RUN AWAY FAST!!
