I agree with this. The Sunbrella seems VERY stiff. Lucky for me it fit the way it was sewn. 1/2" shorter and it would not have fit. However, this is the sign of a good design...fits taut and with no bagginess.

Also, it was indeed tough to close the poptop the first time. I found that gathering the material such that it didn't poke through was a bit tougher (especially at 2AM when I couldn't see anything :-). Also, the canvas I bought did not have an elastic strap in the back to automatically gather the material in the back. This is something I'll have to check for or sew in my own elastic strap.

I also installed a new poptop seal from the Bus Depot (good stuff, BTW...just presses on), so until that settles in place, it may have offered some resistance to the poptop closing as well.
