Actually, I sold a Porsche 911 L to a fellow a few years back (well, actually like 15 years ago?), it all worked out this way for him:

1) Marriage 2) Kids 3) long happy marriage 4) Wife spots Porsche that her husband would love, and they buy it! 5) 14 years later, everyone still happy, and the old 911 looks just like the day I sold it to him!
