Well, a stock north american TDI. With a chip, the euro injection pump, manifolds, ecu, and turbo - the tdi will make 143 hp and enough torque to your tranny a few times over. Of course, it'll run you tons and tons of money to do this... But then you can run on biodiesel, add a particulate trap and run cleaner than most gas cars getting better than twice the fuel mileage... It's not economic, but it's good for the world...
