I can see by this message that you haven't had the pleasure of meeting many bikers. Besides the rough and tough bad guy look, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet on the road. They will almost always stop and help you if you are broken down on the side of the road, and they have gone out of their way to help myself and other people that I know. For example: A few years ago, my mother, on her way to work 25 miles from home, had some sort of engine problem. (I don't really remember what was wrong), and she was stuck on the side of the road. 2 bikers that were traveling the other direction on the highway turned around, and had her pop the hood. They fixed the problem, and followed her to work which was another 25 minutes out of their way, just to make sure she got there okay with no further problems. I have also had the extreme pleasure of riding a Harley out to Sturges bike rally near MT. Rushmore. I went with my sister and her husband. Not to be rude, but I don't believe in stereotypes. The image of bikers has given them a bad name, as well as a few bikers that are just rotten people, but as a whole, it is a society much like this one, always helpful, always friendly. This is my experience.
