Subject:      How far apart are caliper mounting holes?

Can anybody give me a couple of measurements, if you have a Vanagon caliper
on hand? I need to know how far apart the mounting holes are on the Girling
calipers used on the later Vanagons and Syncros. I also need to know the
measurement between the holes where the caliper mounts to the caliper
carriers. Please measure center to center.

I have some Girling calipers from another make of vehicle which has a
substantially larger piston. I was hoping to bolt these directly onto my
Vanagon. Or perhaps it possible, mount it on the Vanagon caliper carriers. I
don't have a Vanagon caliper on hand otherwise I would measure it myself.
Please measure from the centerline of one hole to centerline of the
corresponding hole.
