Fellow vanagoners and vanagonettes.....


Now that the "quiet thread" has degenerated to the level of discussing
wives (women) and motorcycles, I feel its time to weigh in on the matter.
In fact it's not a choice of mine, rather its predestination! Last
Christmas my oldest son (who also drives a Vanagon) bought me a desk
calendar entitled "365 Truly Tasteless Jokes". Why he bought me this
calendar I'll never know (sure, sure)...and if it weren't for the fact he
drives a Vanagon, I' would have disinherited him immediately for giving me
such a gift!

Sorry for digressing.....

The past few days there has been a woman v. motorcycle thread (ergo
"karma") on the calendar (similar to the thread on here) that I'd like to
share with you (please don't blame me...blame the kid, the calendar and karma):

         1. Why is a motorcycle better than a woman?
                 You can have a beer while riding your motorcycle.

         2. Another reason a motorcycle is better than a woman?
                 If your motorcycle makes too much noise, you can buy a
muffler.

         3. A final reason a motorcycle is better than a woman...
If you don't like the way your motorcycle looks, you can always paint it or
buy it new parts.



Thank Gawd its Fryedae!! And remember....blame it on the kid, the calendar
and karma. And please, please, please don't forward this email to my
wife!!   :-)
