Bradley

I did the very samething to my 78 rabbit when it was only 6 months old. It had a problem and the totally incompetant dealer thought I was dreaming. Well I learned diesel machanics real quick. I took the head off and to a welding shop and had it welded. It was not totally broken off but I know what you mean. It lasted 300,000 miles that way before being totaled by the third owner's daughter. Your going to have to take it off any way so have it looked by a good shop.
