Subject: Are there any Studs in the House?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Well I bought (for next to nothing) a set of Mercedes wheels.

On the back axle, the wheels are attached with studs. To mount these wheels requires longer studs.

I have searched in vain for longer studs. The set I finally ordered from the FLAPS ended up having a shank of too large diameter to work. The stock studs are 14MMX1.5 maybe like 35CM and a shank approximately something 14.94. There are many different profiles and not all studs with similar measurements are applicable.

The closest I was able to find fits the profile, 50MM long like I needed, but the shank was 15.15 or something like that. It doesn't fit and you can't force it. Or at least I am not strong enough; either way, it doesn't fit.

I have the possibility to have this machined, at unknown cost at a local machinist shop. It would be better if someone happened to know or could help me find a stud of correct dimensions.

Thank you in advance.
