I found that ramps work best for me, I have my Westy up on ramps right now, with the engine out, (putting in a new one) Ramps work best is seems to remove or installing a engine, or just working under the car, see i have a glass yard where i work, i have to stick plywood under the ramps to make sure they dont sink.................
